The Carbon footprint of Bitumen is a complex subject which is currently under review by the Technical Committee of the Refined Bitumen Association in the UK. In conjunction with this review is work undertaken by Eurobitume to update the 1999 Report: Life Cycle Inventory of Bitumen.
