In 2009 Petroplus commissioned a new Polymer Bitumen manufacturing unit at our Coryton Refinery in Stanford-le-hope, Essex.

Doubling the manufacturing capability positions Petroplus ready to accommodate the increasing use of Polymer Modified Bitumen in the UK asphalt market.  With the call for greater durability to achieve more sustainable infrastructure, we believe that manufacturing quality is just as important as technology development.

Petroplus has developed unique manufacturing routes using a wide range of polymers which provide immense flexibility in production combined with consistent product quality throughout our Petrobit range.
