Located in Swansea together with the Petroplus Bitumen offices is our state-of-art facility which forms the cornerstone of all our bitumen and asphalt research & development activity. The range of testing capability puts it at the forefront of UK bitumen and asphalt laboratories.

From here we offer unequalled Technical Services to asphalt customers in the UK providing an extensive range of UK and European (EN) test methods supported by experienced industry professionals.

As well as proprietary asphalt application development our laboratory provides a complete Low Energy Asphalt (LEA^®) support service carrying out aggregate and mixture evaluations for all LEA^® users to enable a smooth transition from hot mix production to LEA^® manufacturing.
